Named for the year the maison was founded, the 1889 collection links the artistry of imperial Europe with craftsmanship of today. It rests on a simple conviction: heirlooms should not live in glass cases, but be worn, lived with and reinterpreted by each generation.
The collection draws on the gem-setting traditions of the 17th- and 18th-century European courts, where ornamental hardstones adorned ceremonial and church regalia. Stones that once graced Fabergé objets, icons and palace treasures now return as the centrepiece of a modern locket.
