Ref.9900 STB Concepto Watch

The 9900 series is the summit of Viktor Alexander’s mechanical work. The flagship of the 9000 series, it is openworked watchmaking at its boldest, each piece a moving sculpture shaped by hundreds of hours of design and development with our Swiss partner workshop.

Each watch takes several months to complete in the hands of master watchmakers in the Jura, the cradle of fine Swiss watchmaking. Its skeletonised calibre is made to be looked at and engineered to keep time, with a tourbillon at six o’clock to counter the effects of gravity. Every movement is regulated to −5/+7 seconds a day, in line with chronometer standards.

The 43mm case is Viktor Alexander design at its most modern: bold, angular and sculptural, yet above passing fashion. Brushed stainless steel gives it presence on the wrist, while the skeletonised dial plays light against shadow, revealing bridges, wheels and micro-mechanics in black, gold and steel, like the vaults of an industrial cathedral.

Luminous sword hands, an industrial bezel and a multi-level chapter ring add depth and keep the time legible. On an alligator-embossed leather strap in deep crimson or classic black, the 9900 moves easily from the collector’s cabinet to black tie.

Every piece is assembled, tested and finished by hand, honouring the heritage of fine mechanics with the daring of modern design.

Every Viktor Alexander watch carries a three-year international warranty covering manufacturing and movement defects.
